Dare to Lead Teams and Leaders

A note from Brené: There is a deep human need to be seen and understood. The most powerful argument you can make for bringing this work into organizations starts with seeing that organization, its people, and accurately naming the obstacles they’re facing. There is nothing more powerful than getting curious, listening, and being able to accurately reflect back to a person or a group of people the obstacles that are getting in their way and how courage building will help. We must do the work of connecting their struggles and goals with our work. There is no short cut for that connection.
Based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown, Dare to Lead™ is an empirically based courage-building program designed to be facilitated by organizational development professionals.
The most significant finding from Brené’s latest research is that courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable, and observable. Certified Dare to Lead™ Facilitators focus on developing these courage-building skills through workshops, training, and coaching to help individuals, teams, and organizations move from armored leadership to daring leadership.

Dare to Lead leaders are courageously choosing to risk being “all in” at work and home.

“I am so excited to implement what I learned at the Daring Leadership workshop in both my personal life and my business. Although the workshop was geared to health professionals, the information and activities were both beneficial and applicable to my profession as a real estate broker and entrepreneur. I am continually seeking to improve my relationships with people and my ability to communicate effectively (and network) – skills which are intricately tied to my own self awareness. This training provided me with new insights, tools and take a-ways to grow and apply as a leader. I highly recommend Nancy Kay and the Daring Leadership workshop.”
